Craig Haft is a camera engineer & designer who pioneered speciality camera applications for the past 20 years. His prototypical micro cam and hidden camera designs set the benchmark for investigative news shows such as: 20/20, PrimeTime Live, 60 minutes, 48 hours and Dateline NBC. Craig’s work can be seen on HBO Taxicab Confessions, Discovery’s CashCab and the new Driven to Love with Ray J on the WE Network.
Craig developed a fire resistant body camera systems to be worn by NYC FD Rescue2 for ABC News 20/20. He continued to develop a fire resistant system to be implemented in the “Grill Cam” featured on PBS’s Barbecue University.
Craig was introduced to Cooking Shows while working with Frappe Productions on the award winning shows: Dessert Circus with Jacque Torres, Jewish Cooking in America with Joan Nathan, Barbecue University & Primal Grilling with Steven Raichlen. You can find the most recent application of the GrillCam used in Netflix’s “Cooked” currently airing season 1 episode 1.
